So, you want to watch a movie? Okay, so grab the TV remote and turn it on, now put it on the right “channel”. Turn on the DVD player. Turn on the surround sound receiver. Put it on the the right input. Now you’re ready to sit down and enjoy the show.
Urgh, you forgot to turn off the lights.
So you get up and turn them off. You sit down again. Oh geez, now its too warm and you want to turn down the thermostat. Pause the movie, get up and turn it down. And by the way, the shades are still open.
